Denison junior Olivia Zaleski was named the Collegeswimming.com's Division III Swimmer of the Week after posting three NCAA automatic qualifying times at the three-day Miami Invitational. She finished fourth in the 100 butterfly (55.55), fifth in the 100 backstroke (57.15), and tenth in the 50 freestyle (23.63). She also set a new school record in the 100 backstroke while leading off the Big Red's 400 medley relay team. Her split of 55.71 in the relay was not only the fastest in Denison history, it was the third fastest time in the event in small college history.
Zaleski also swam on three relays; the third-place 200 free relay (1:35.25), the fourth-place 400 free relay (3:51.14), and the second-place 200 medley relay (1:48.57).
