Wittenberg sophomore linebacker Jonathan Daniels, an Iraq and Kuwait veteran of the U.S. Army and current National Guardsman who played one season for the Tigers before enlisting, and has returned with special permission from the Guard, was honored with the carrying of the American flag onto the field during the Tigers' pre-game runout to commemorate September 11.
