With the present state of the local economy, Earlham is making a special offer to basketball fans this winter.

AD Frank Carr announced last week that fans can attend all Quaker home basketball games for free during the 2008-09 season.

“We’ve decided to offer this for the community as a way of providing entertainment for area residents and supporting our basketball fans,” Carr said.

Both Earlham teams open this weekend in tournaments away from Schuckman Court before returning for their home openers on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

The men’s team faces Manchester College at 6 p.m., while the women’s squad entertains Bluffton University at 8 p.m.
