Ohio Wesleyan head coach Kris Boey and Allegheny assistant coach Travis Gillespie have been honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Boey, in his sixth season at OWU, was named Great Lakes Region Men's Coach of the Year after leading the Battling Bishops to their first NCAC Championship since 2001.
Gillespie, in his third season with the Gators, was named Mideast Region Assistant Women's Coach of the Year after helping produce four All-NCAC throwers and the NCAC Field Athlete of the Year in Liz Early.
