For most Division III athletes, graduation is a bittersweet time. Not only are they potentially leaving the comfy confines of college life, but they are also most likely saying goodbye to organized sports.
Sure people play in rec league and in certain sports there's always pick-up games, but for most organized training, practice and competition are now just a recent memory.
However, some athletes love participating so much that they seek out the rare opportunities that exist to extend their sporting life. Former Oberlin student-athletes Jessie Oram and Seth Binder are two of those athletes.
The two have paired up to share their experiences on their blog After D3 Sports. Seth is currently playing baseball in Munich, Germany, after a season in Israel, and Jesse playing basketball in Melbourne, Australia.
